This beautiful ring features original Antique Edwardian Suffragette gemstones set in a newer gallery and shank. The ring features a gorgeous 1.50ct Amethyst and a stunning 1.50ct Peridot which form part of a fabulous twist design. The gemstones are each set in a wonderful ornate 18ct White Gold gallery.
Suffragettes liked to be depicted as feminine, their jewellery popularly consisted of Violet, Green and White stones which were chosen to counter the masculine women’s rights stereotypes put forward by opponents. Green is for Give, white is for Women and violet is for Votes!
A magnificent ring which holds great sentiment and a wonderful and unusual design.
